Calacatta Oro has gold and grey veins that are not evenly distributed across every slab. Mark cut-outs, corners and joints on the slab images before calculating material for a countertop or feature wall.
Marble is sensitive to acids; sealing does not prevent etching. For countertops, wet areas and floors, consider cleaning habits, slip requirements and the installation plan. Ground colour, veining and repairs can differ between batches sold under the same name.
