Volakas is Greek marble, not Italian. Its diagonal veins make laying direction and the appearance of joints important on long walls and continuous floors.
Marble is sensitive to acids; sealing does not prevent etching. For countertops, wet areas and floors, consider cleaning habits, slip requirements and the installation plan. Ground colour, veining and repairs can differ between batches sold under the same name.
