In November 2003, Nan’an Jiecheng Stone Co., Ltd. was established in Shuitou Town, Nan’an, Quanzhou, Fujian — the town known as China’s stone capital. The company was registered with capital of RMB 60 million and set out with a single specialisation: the import, processing and supply of Italian white marble.
The focus was narrow on purpose. Rather than trade every stone that reached the market, the company concentrated on a handful of Italian whites — the varieties that would become its main lines — and built its early reputation on knowing them well. That founding decision still shapes the business today: a specialist supplier rather than a general trader, with the factory, the stock and the quarry relationships kept in one place.
